About Us

Youth Community Development Ghana (YCDG), formerly known as God’s Plan Foundation, is a non-governmental organization established on June 25, 2021. Our goal is to empower youth and work with vulnerable communities to overcome obstacles and challenges that prevent them from living life in its fullness.

Meet Our Team

Appiah Tano Desmond

Desmond is the founder of YCDG, he is a development practitioner and has over 5 years of experience working in community development. His passion for youth empowerment drives YCDG’s mission forward. He is also in charge of all youth activities in the organization.

Gideon Osei Mensah

Gideon is the Operations Manager. His role is to oversee the day-to-day activities and ensure that all YCDG projects are executed efficiently. He is also the overall General Secretary of the organization.

Madam Eunice

Eunice is the Director of Programs at YCDG. She specializes in developing sustainable programs that support the growth and education of vulnerable communities. She is a teacher by profession.

Harrison Kojo Abbah

Harrison handles all communications at YCDG. He is responsible for ensuring the organization’s message reaches a wider audience both locally and internationally. He is a communication expert.

Madam Sherry

Sherry is the Community Development Manager at YCDG. She works closely with local leaders to create partnerships that benefit both the youth and their communities. She is a social worker by profession.

Clement Sarkodie Nyamekye

Clement leads the fundraising efforts for YCDG. With a background in finance, he ensures that the organization has the resources it needs to thrive.
